ENROLLMENT POLICIES

West Park Barber School does not discriminate in its employment, admissions, instruction, or graduation policies on the basis of sex, age, race, color, religion, or ethnic origin nor does it recruit students already attending or admitted to another school offering similar programs of study.

West Park Barber school follows the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board admission requirements and procedures. Each student enrolling must:

  • Complete an application.

  • Provide proof of education, such as a diploma, GED, foreign diploma, an official transcript, or state certification of home school completion.

  • Proof of verification of a foreign students high school diploma and has been performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm that the academic equivalent to a high school diploma.

  • 17 years of age at enrollment and must be 18 prior to taking the state barber board exam.

  • Drivers license or state picture ID

  • Hold a valid Ohio cosmetology license when enrolling in the barber program as a cosmetologist.

  • Tuition or payment plan in place

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Name, changes, document, marriage, court order, etc.

  • We do not accept a ATB testing

    All applicants are required to tour the facility and complete an application before enrollment.
